Mouse and Switches

The mouse is a control device for direct selection.This is a pointing device because the user controls a pointer on the screen by moving it to place it on the element to be selected.After the pointer is positioned, the selection of the element is made by a command, usually by the push of a button.

The Switches control devices is typically used for indirect scanning, the user is able to generate binary signals (activated / non-activated) allowing him to control the scanning processes and to select the desired element.
